Default Apparantly, cars gonna be sitting in the lot for 4 weeks, this will push its

total up to sitting 8 weeks on the lot in its life.
sigh, we really dont want to drive around crappy rentals when we just bought the car outright and shoved 22 grand (£) in their pockets.

Any advice on how to write to head of Audi UK? the service manager was encouraging in this manner, but anyway, this car has other issues, and they havent been made right yet... ie the rear windscreen, would that strengthen our case to perhaps get an exchange to another A4 of similar age? maybe a diesel or something.
Various other things aswell.
blah.

We are gonna do it, list all the points, wish we hadnt been lazy before and written then, may have made a stronger case now, regardless, the problems have happened and are documented.

I would ask Audi to buy it back, in the US it would be a lemon law deal

Blah, the dealer lied, they must have replaced all 4 with the old coils... the inventory sheet did have coil(s) with the s there, so they ordered more than one, they all looked different to the old ones. sigh.
The cars just been in for alot of things, and some of them were not sorted out, were gonna take it in and have them done in the service in a few months.
Its just tiring, hope they solve this, will not tolerate another failure, with all the other issues the cars had, well be angling for some kind of exchange to a u sed A4, maybe just under a year old, Tdi, one of the other models we were hankering after... who knows, maybe we can get the sporty one after experiencing the executive one, best of both worlds.

A letter is gonna go straight to audi UK tommorow evening, thats for sure, and I think we have at least some kind of case.
Just looking around here for any kinda tips etc, lol, make use of the forum etc.

Default If it is in warranty, it should be covered by your laws.

Ring a lawyer(barrister) if you want to persue this further.

Default Don't just bend over.

The more informed you are when you walk in the better. Don't play dumb, just don't give away all your cards up front. Ask them for the lemon info, if they don't give it, whip it out and get the names of EVERYONE you had contact with at the dealer. Better yet, bring your barrister with you, just don't point out who he is until after they tell you to go **** yourself.
