Default APR Exhaust Drone in Car??

Has anyone experienced excessive exhaust drone inside the vehicle with an APR exhaust system? I just had one installed and the sound inside the car is unbearable. I am running a 1.8T with Stage 1+ (software & injectors) along with a snub mount and K&N filter. Not sure any of this matters, but I plan to return the exhaust and/or sell the car because its that bad. Thanks for the input.

Default May be a problem with the intall then. The APR is one of the quieter ones...

Make sure there is no leak as the APR is a very quite one. The only ones I can think of that might be a tad more quiet is Milltek and MTM. Thermal/AWE, Neuspeed, Magnaflow, Borla will be louder. cheers! Mike

That's what I thought when I purchased it. I will have to check into this further. Thanks for the input.

Check the installation as there might be something hitting the driveline or you have a leak

Default the APR Exhaust is one of the quieter ones

but there is an issue of droning within the cabin at a certain RPM range (~2200-3000). I have the drone in that range and have read of others with the same issue. It is hardly unbearable though so your problem may be more than what may be a design flaw.

Default I have the same setup as you sans the injectors and mine is perfect...

a deeper, slightly louder exhaust note within the cab exactly what I would expect with a larger diameter piping than stock; certainly nothing I would consider excessive or unbearable. Get it up an a lift and check the install to make sure there are no leaks or if something is loose or touching anything it should not be; good luck!

Default HUH???

I have exactly the same, and I can't hear any difference at cruise. Off throttle on coast down you can hear a little boom if you listen for it, but generally it is as quiet as stock! I wish it had MORE presence, this coming from someone who Doesn't want my car to sound like a ricer.
