release. That said, keep in mind that any performance increase (s/w or h/w) is going to put additional stresses on your car that the OEM or previous version did not. I.e., if certain components were OK at a given pressure, but were on their way out, a change in system conditions like new software may push the component over the edge into the failure region, be it subtle or catastrophic.
Something to note is that boost pressure is not the only performance indicator you should use to gauge proper operation of the system.
I really would refrain from changing parts until you do a good job of looking for leaks, or getting a second person to look for leaks. Changing parts that are still good can quickly add up to wasted $.

The shop I used looked for leaks and found none. They doubled checked the installation and everything was tight, took the car for a drive and didn't hear anything that would be a leak.
They specialize in servicing Audi and Porsche and are knowledgable with turbo related problems so I trust their findings and their advice they gave me on the issue.
I understand what you are saying but a K04 isn't that much bigger than the OEM K03 and the only reason I am using boost pressure to gauge my performance is due to the fact others who are running GIAC/APR/REVO K04 setups with very similar if not identical configurations as I am are getting much better results.

I am assuming you are taking your reading off the boost gauge you have, but I am wondering if I compare your boost log to mine and factoring in atmospheric correction if I am actually hitting the same values as you are.
