Default So you have revo stage 2 with a KO4? I think that if you have a ko4, the tuner used

revo software to make a custom map for a ko4 turbo. Revo stage 2 means injectors and software flash for use with the stock ko3.

I'm not an expert but, from what I understand, Each tuner can alter the revo software maps for a given application. Lets say you found a turbo and a manifold that would bolt up to a 1.8t motor but there wasn't any software out for it. If you had the revo package, you could make your own map for your ecu.

But to do this, you would need to be an authorized dealer for revo and spend the boat load of cash to get whatever you need to use and customize their software like ecode or pro-imports does.

Default This is so far from truth. REVO dealers can't alter fuel map, they can do the same

thing you can do with SPS3.
Eurocode had custom software written by REVO for E05 turbo, then later that software has been fine tuned for K04 by Nick.

Default Creativeautoworks did the K04, FMIC, etc install & REVO flash. From what I remember...

James said he flashed my car with Stage 2 software. Then he tuned it...3 gear from low RPMS to redline as he adjusted boost and timing while monitoring the CF's. I guess I have a custom map.

Hmm...I'll need to call him to confirm this.

Do you think, I have just Injector file tweaked for a K04? Is the Ecode K04 software better?

Default So if I understand you correctly, all revo maps are the same for each application, or can each tuner

customize the maps? I'm confused now.

Default All i'm saying is that local dealers can NOT alter files except enable/disable pre loaded

timing and boost maps (SPS3)

Default All REVO dealers get same files except that David/Eurocode paid to have this E05 file made

exclusively for this turbo. I was running this file with my Sk04 and it was great.

Default Thats not a custom map, thats just timing being tweaked to maximize your set up. you

can do the same thing with SPS3.

Default I have yet to see a dyno with a Ecode Revo showing higher gains than the rest

I have the stage 2 revo program with tweek boost/timing and my car is running great with the logs that i did.

I have seen dynos from the eurocode file vs what the other revo dealers get, not much difference other than people falling for ecodes marketing.

Quick Reply: APR K04 kit = $2300, Revo K04 kit = $1600; why do the prices vary so much?
