Default Yes, Eurotuner dynoed a Stock A4 at Harman Motive for an upcoming article and...

<center><img src="http://www.ecodetuning.com/Pictures/eddie_b6/1A1.jpg"></center><p>
The car hit 134 WHP, which translated to approx 168 at the crank, it also had a NS exhaust, so the dyno #'s may be a bit conservative. My buddy dynoed his new Jetta GLI, just before I did and hit 127 WHP, he has a tip but even with the additional DT loss he's well below 180CHP. So my conversion #'s may be a bit conservative as well.

Also what's up with the Sachs performance clutch? Any news on that? Let me know. : )

Default They're both aggressive, but safe IMO...

They both make good power, if you want a bit more I say get injectors. There's been an ongoing debate between the tuners if bigger injectors really add substantial power, I say they add a modest amount, there's only so much you can do with a K03. Still for some 5-10WHP maybe worth the money, for me it was. : )

Default Congrats Drew. Good stuff....

Glad it is working out for you bud. Very solid. Email me or give me a call about your dyno if you want. It looks like the AWD cars were only losing about 22% at the wheels which may have implications for your car, but not bad ones. Thanks for keeping us informed about your progress. cheers! Mike

Default Ok, so a stock B6 A4 does 134whp. And with the APR chip you layed down 204whp?

So a 70whp gain with the software? And that was the only change?

Sachs clutches...finishing them up. Waiting to hear back from Sachs engineers if there are any differences b/w B5 and B6 setups as they may be the same, but we want them to confirm.

Default Jer I'm FWD, the Stock A4 was AWD as Mike pointed out : )

As far as the Sachs clutch, I did look at the part #'s and they are the same as far as I can tell. My Audi Tech is gonna check it out as well. Thanks for the update, I'll be in touch.

Default Thanks Mike, the Stock A4 did have a NS exhaust which is good for at least 10HP...

So the DT loss would be around 25-26%, if you figure the car should make 180HP with the exhaust upgrade, approx #'s of course.

Default

That makes total sense from what I have seen on the dynojets.

Default Drew, mind emailing me a higher res of the 91 dyno please? I'd like to look at the A/F more closely

vkfso@shaw.ca or the one in my screen name would be good.

Default The only reason ask is because...

I like the powerband hte stock turbo puts out. I dont like the amount of power, but the powerband. It seems to suit my style of driving on the twisty roads here where I live and it is great for merging, passing and such...
That is why I was wondering if It was worth the extra $ for a K04 and if it would work with this file.
Also, Revo says that they do not have any K04 software for the 2005 A4 and the APR 1+ is compatable.
Just trying to figure out my options.
Thanks.
