have you ever heard of deductive reasoning? if you have two cars running identical software, and it works w/o incident on one, but has problems on the other, then since the sw is the same something else is influencing...LIKE inj's or whatever else...

Drove to Streetwerke in Palo Alto yesterday to show them CEL warning I'm getting on the car.....Also told them about how boost oddly goes On & Off while driving on the freeway on their way to their shop. Seems that its actually not the APR stage 1+ program w/ APR injectors on my car was causing the CEL...But a ruptured small factory vaccum hose thats linking between the Injector fuel rail and Intake manifold...the tear on the rubber tube was not easy to see cause it failed on the seam and thats the excessive hissing I've been hearing when boost was there.
They temporarily replaced it for me with another rubber vacuum hose until the correct OEM part comes in...drove the car home that night and its running fine and "boostilly" strong & happy again.
If the APR setup has any factor to what happened...its probably the extra boost it now generates compared to the old Neuspeed chip...maybe Samco should make a replacement tube on that OEM piece cause the mechanics at Streetwerke said that they had replaced that particular tube several times from other 1.8T Engines before.

Its the tube right after the No. 15 Check Valve that routes to the Intake Manifold....that damaged piece made my car bucked and stuttered every time I let off the gas after accelerating. Oddly enough, Audi had that "L" hose made with a seam thru-out its entire length...and it ruptured at the seam close to the check valve end....An APR tech rep. from Japan was actually visiting the Streetwerke facility yesterday and I gave him the damaged factory tube for him to analyze and present back to his R&D division.

However, I do not have the APR Injectors I have the Bosch TT 225 ones. Perhaps, its the '02s with the APR injectors (long shot). However, it does seem that Bolo is ok now and he had APR Injectors. Has there been any internal '02 s/w updates at APR lately that might account for some cars running fine?
