Argh! Can't get rid of sunroof rattle?
I have a 2004.5 A4 1.8TQ that, after the winter, developed a rattle from the sunroof everytime I go over any little bump or even while making tight turns (like in underground parking garages).
The dealer that I take it to has tried lubricating the roof twice and then last time they said they took the glass out and put it back in. However, now it's worse than it's ever been.
Has anyone else had this problem? What was done to fix it? Thanks!

The dealer may have been only lubricating the rails for movement of the glass panel.
Take some Lexol Vinylex (or similar product) and lubricate the rubber seal around the perimeter of the glass. Should work like a charm...of course you'll have to repeat every few months as the lube wears off, but it does take care of the problem.
