I asked if I could upgrade my 2003 A4 w/Audi Symphony/Bose stereo to the head unit that has integrated XM. The response was yes. I emailed the person who gave me some info but haven't received a response, so I will pose my further questions here. I've found the 2004/2005 XM receiver module here . Will this indeed plug into my car? I realize I would still need the 2004/2005 head unit, where would be the best (or for that matter, any) place to get one? (Want to get pricing). Thirdly, would I really need the "shark fin" (I guess that's what people call it) antenna thing, or could I just use my existing XM antenna? Any direction is appreciated. Thanks!

I am not sure where you could pick up a headunit other then the dealer or maybe Clairparts.
As for the antenna...again, not sure on the hookup to the XM receiver. An aftermarket (say Pioneer) might work, just depends on the plug.

I know how busy people are, believe me. I was just curious if anyone else had any direction for me. I might try emailing Audi and see what they have to say.
