Default Atlas Daddy - look here...

...what color are the mats you have installed pictured above? Is that clay or gray? In another thread I've been trying to discern whether or not the clay or gray mats better match the color of the dash trim.

Click the link to see my clay mats. I *think* I like them, but might switch if convinced otherwise.

Thanx!

http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/35769/2002-04-29_005.jpg</a

Default bernie , Im a huge Yankees fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my wife had my name flashed on the scoreboard at yankee stadium last year. I almost fainted!i digress......those clay look darker than my gray, and I would send mine back for black if i hadnt already been beating up Clair over something else.
i think the darker mats provide a nice contrast, and dont show the heel marks. is your int Plat?
IMHO.
...if this Avant is rockin'..........

Default Ah ha - so that *is* gray!

Seems to match the gray trim that we all have quite well - you think? I have a beige leather interior on my 3.0 sedan (no Avant here - almost did, but didn't). From what you can see, what do you think of the clay?

On that note, you don't really like 'em huh? Some other posts have mentioned the same with regards to how they show the dirt. A couple of other guys mentioned for those with the platinum interior that the black mats not only provide a nice contrast, but the A4 logo is in platinum.

Default b.....the mats are the only way to go..

its insulting the mats that come with the car. the color is the rub. go with black. but believe me, you will love these mats. simple green and a hose, then i put some 1K erv on them. they look great.

I have gray and they suck! They get real dirty. I wish I had gone with the black. I think the Black would have made a nice contrast. Now i have to find some kind of a cleaner to take all the crap out that is in the mats. Any suggestions for cleaners??
