My dad hates his Accord. He still thinks something is wrong with the car. Even when I drive it I have to agree with him. It feels like the tranny gets stuck and the car doesn't wanna move. I keep trying to get him to go German. He had a 86 5000S and it had so many problems so he is scared to get another Audi. He likes the Volvo's for some reason!!

One of the safest cars ever made ( much better than Volvo ). Just be sure to get Audi Assured warranty to take care of problems as fixing stuff isn't cheap. If you cruise over to the A8 forum, you'll see they have some problems, but nothing major most of the time. They are made the way Mercedes used to make cars - that solid hand made feel.

You want the 4.2, not the 3.7. '98 or newer prefered ( has Tip ). '00 and up have many interior revisions, suspension improvements, and redesigned heads as well as the L model. Only 3500 to 4000 have been brought over every year, so you won't see yourself coming and going.

Oh yeah, show him Ronin if you want to get his blood pumping;-)

components inside then a regular automatic, i used to own a lot of hondas, the first thing that always goes wrong is the tranny, so it makes perfect sense that the honda tranny went bad
