Audi Junkie, I searched 2.8 vag codes and read your A4-A6 recode post
Will this work on my 02 vw 2.8 Tip? 200hp sounds good to me plus its free. I'm also getting a 98 vw 1.8T manual trans and can't wait to play around with that.I think this one is going to get heavily modded but I have to start somewhere. Thanks for any info you can give. It is good to have people to trust and this forum seems to be full of them

I don't have the codes handy, but I don't think it would work. Passat V6 will have different config.
If the Passat soft-code is the same digits as the Audi A4, try it. Otherwise, swap in a A4 ECU??? Sorry. btw- I just sold my car.
