this may be a stupid question but does that work with US TV? doesn't europe use PAL?

Default Blaupunkt unit is universal, it receives NTSC TV signal just fine (see picture)
<center><img src="http://pictures.fedulov.com/albums/audinavi/audi_navi_007.sized.jpg"></center><p>The Multimedia adapter from Nexxtel converts the output from Blaupunkt DVD-ME3 into specific VGA signal understandable by Navi Plus unit that's how the picture get's there. You can connect computer to this thing as well if you really want to
