Im trying to figure out if I have a Bose or Non-Bose system. Could anyone direct me on how I would know?

Great thanks that was easy. Contemplating to upgrade the system. Using a portable GPS, and Xm tuner and I cant stand the wires anymore. Was thinking of an aftermarket syetem GPS receiver, but dont want to compromise the existing system. i may replace the speakers as well to get little better sound, but looking at all the upgrade posts, nothing seems easy on this car.

you could always find yourself a used oem gps unit... but they are NOT cheap lol!
i dont think an aftermarket gps head unit would be that bad to install, and you could always go to an audio shop and get a pro installation
