Default Audi used front and rear plastic=bad silver color reflection

Maybe im being **** retentive but does anyone else get aggravated about how the rear bumper (especially ultrasport) and front bumper are made of plastic and therefore appear darker when they reflect the light?

Does this happen on any other colors?

Should i seek help?

Default Yes... seek help.

Color matching is one of the hardest with metallic silver, and almost all cars have plastic bumpers now.

Default Ya, but Audi seems to be really bad at it

One of the reasons I got black; silver just doesn't match quite right for some reason on the newer A4s

Silver shows the lines of the car off best. but black is elegant.

Default arent the a4's doors a plastic material like dent/corrosion-resistant polymer panels

or similar to the material saturn uses. it's a pretty expensive material from what i gather...

Default Nothing to do with material - its the process

Due to the way the plant is configured, the bumpers are painted seperate from the car, thus minor diferences in paint batches show up as a mismatch. This is the same for ALL manufacturers, and is especially bad on silver..
