Audi won’t stay running for more than an hour at a time?
I’ve got an interesting one here today, so the other day I picked up myself a 2004 a4 3.0 auto trans ( or so it used to be ) it’s been swapped to an AUM 1.8t Engine mated with a 6sp manual transmission. Anyways when I go to start my car first and foremost it has no key tumbler to stick your key into as that is missing, so I’m order to start it you have to directly slot the key into the ignition cylinder and turn it like that ( I could have used a screwdriver to stick in the cylinder and it would have started too) Once the car is started the hazard lights stay blinking for a sun of 5 minutes and then turns themselves off. and the e brake light, immobilizer light stay blinking the whole time the car is running until it’s shut off. I’m wondering if buying a keytumbler and hooking it up to the ignition cylinder and getting a key cut and coded to the car would solve my issue or if it’s possibly something bigger? Not sure, let me know.
