I have kenwood ddx-7105 hooked up with DV4100 navi system but having trouble getting the turn-by-turn voice guidance working. I can see that my car marker is moving on the map correctly but i can;t get the turn-by-turn instruction.

MY installer didn;t hook up the parking sensor so that i can still play DVD while the car is moving. DOes anyone know if that is interfering with the NAVI? He hooked up the speed senor wire correctly(i think) since I can get go into Vehicle Signal Menu and see the correct speed.

can anyone help? Does anyone know of an installer who knows what the problem is? I am in nyc area.


for those who has this navi system, did you hook up the parking sensor also?

search for "DDX7017" and find my previous posts with everything you need to get it working correctly

According to the installer, he said he hooked up the speed sensor to the wiring harness.

does that wire hook to the harness or its additional wire that I need to maually tap to the speed sensor?
