Default Audi's will last?

Hello all. I bought my used 96 a4 in 2001. Have not had any major problems with it except minor electrical problems. I have changed the timing belt and have put synthetic oil in since I bought the vehichle which had 85,000 miles on it. The car seems very solid and I would like to hold on to it but I am not sure how reliable audi's are. This is my first and it now has 127,000 on it. Should I keep this vehicle based on the fact that I have maintained it very well and have not had any major problems or is this the time to dump this kind of car. I know this is a stupid question but I could use any kind of advice on how reliable these cars are. Thanks so much to anyone who takes the time to respond.
Jay

Default I'd say it depends on your financial situation if you can afford a new car, go for it!

Other wise I have seen audis still running with 300,000 miles on it, so you probably have a good amount of time left.

I've had owned several vw's (Jetta 3 and Jetta4) and now a 2004 a4 and have come to the conclusion that these cars will generally not let you down if you take care of them. If you service it regularly and dont drive them beyond there limitations you can have them for years and years. Some may disagree but thats just my 2 cents.

Default No reason that it won't last a long time. Only issue would be....

...what about that first 85,000 miles! How was it cared for then? Although I think you woould have seen issues by now if it was abused. I'd say keep it. Also check out the quattro list at www.audifans.com, lots of older Audi's on that list.

Default I sure hope so. We got 205K out of my wife's last car.

A GM product not known for longevity.

Since we bought her A4 with 41K we're hoping to keep it until 300K.

Used car prices for high mileage cars assume that every one is a lemmon... hold onto yours... IMHO
