Default audiworld newbie (uk)

hi guys!
really impressed by the site, really cool.
i have a uk spec 2002 A4 B6 1.9TDI 130 avant.
its in amulet red with a full cream buffalino hide interior, its my first audi but allready im looking at selling my other car to get a new s-line A4 B7.
mods planned are, full s-line kit, to include front spoiler, rear under bumper color coded panel with twin exhaust conversion, door blades and S4 sill covers. 19" TT 10 spoke alloys, engine remap to boost performance,
also planning to lower it approx 15mm.

i have one question to start and i hope you could help, i allready have the S-line front spoiler and S-line grills, i am planning to fit the lower spoiler to the standard upper, but ive been told the grills dont fit, is there any of you fine Audi driving peeps who could give me any advice on fitting the grills.
many many thanks, griffy (jason)

Default Welcome! Say, could you post some pictures underneath the bonnet of your car?

Here in North America we don't get the 1.9TDI, and I'm curious how it fits.
Also, TT wheels won't work: they've got the wrong bolt pattern.
I cannot comment on grills, but I'm sure somebody else will!

here you go,

the bolt pattern PDC must be different in the uk, as a friend of mine allready has the TT wheels on his A4 and they look amazing, thats why im going for the same, if they dont fit there are hundreds of aftermarket companys making replicas, or i have been offered a set of genuine s4 18" alloys but they need a refurb, at nearly 500 pounds (wont let me use the pound sign!!) there not cheap tho!! (think thats about $850-$900)
as for the front S-line spoiler, its allreay on, did it last night, took about 2.5 hours, just had to chop a bit outa the OE front bumper thats all, so the grills should be a sinch.

thanks for the warm welcome so far guys.

Default Thanks for the picture! It's quite a tidy engine :)

10 spokes... The only wheels I can think of are the 9-spoke "Ultrasport" wheel we have here in North America, or the B5 RS4 wheel. I'd be very surprised if the bolt patterns are different between NA and Britain...

Hm... That's an interesting combination of aluminium roof rails and black window trims!
