Default autocross win potential?

I'm going to be in an autocross Nov 7th in KC in the G stock class. Assuming equal driving skills, who do you think will win? I am going to run stock ECU on my 02 1.8T. Here's the car listing.

02 a4 1.8T
03 jetta 1.8t
99 a4 1.8T
96 a4 10v 2.8
85 300zx
02 celica gt

Default First of all, you're not in the stock class

Your rims and high flow cat bump you to STX (this is a regional class, but pretty common, I'd imagine your region carries it.) Secondly, the A4 is not a very good autocross car, as far as being truly competetive. You large rims, stock suspension, and basically stock powerplant means you are really not going to be competitive (depending of course on the other cars and drivers in your class.) But, that's not really what matters, especially if it's your first time. Just have fun, take an instructor ride on if you can, and try to improve your own times throughout the day.

Default I'm running on OEM 17 sport and the cat hasn't been installed yet.

I'm racing mostly against friends, so I think it will end up being a matter of driving skill than car performance. But at any rate, I'm just curiously objectifying.

Default Chipped cars automatically go to "modified" status...

Any time you modify boost, you pass "prepared" and go to modified. That being said, the key to doing well is practice, suspension, and tires. Nail those down and you'll have a chance. I've seen miatas with stock hp kill everything on the track because they are wearing 13" wheels with slicks and heavily modifed suspensions. They look like go-carts. cheers! Mike
