Thanks for asking: Dolphin/Ebony, sport + premium, xenons, Bose, heated seats, sunroof, 1.8tQ w/ 5MT. Back in September my spouse forbid me to purchase a new car, and I agreed (I was looking at Subaru Legacy wagons at the time). Then I was bit again by new car fever and started to look into the new A4 Avant. She should have let me buy back in September ... we would have saved a chunk of change! However, she's so happy with the Avant that the "Legacy is history." I'll post a pic if someone can tell me how (sorry for my ignorance).

Very very pretty. Must be happy. I am!
Mine's nearly the same, except 3.0. Lots of fun in the twisties, and the sports suspension is great. Almost (!) as good as the TT.

We're in North Carolina now (a crazy place to have heated seats, but the dealer must have been looking to up the sticker). By the way, bought the car for invoice + 3% here in Winston-Salem.
How's the avant with the 3.0? Do you have a tip or 5-speed? I test drove a 3.0 sedan without the sport suspension and thought it lumbered a bit. They didn't have any avants with the V6 and 5-spd on the lot. Couldn't really afford the upgrade any how, however, the engine and gearbox were very silky on the sedan.
Do us a favor, enjoy a ride in the Palo Alto hills (Skyline?)! I had many of memories on that stretch of road. Take care.
