Is avant tailgate opening height adjustable? (...)

I have a tailgate opening height symbol and a small notch in plastic covers of tailgate hinges. I haven't yet figured out if there's a way to adjust tailgate to open lower than it opens now.

I tried to figure that one out too, I had a thule roof box that it was hitting. I don't think you...

can adjust it although it really appears you can.
