Default B5 (1997) A4 Q 2.8 V6 Questions about Vag-Com & scans.

I've used Vag-Com before. Scanned the forums and looking for some info about your 1997 2.8 A4 Q auto.

I'm buying a "rebuilt" car with some scanning issues.

> The Vag-Com dongle when connected under the dash quickly flashes yellow (like most scans / before green) then blinks red. No communication at all.

Is there a relay I should be looking to check for connectivity?

> Also, this car had a front hit and several trans cooler and ac lines looked bent: restricting flow. Do any of you have photos of the pass front of your car between the motor and the radiator for comparison?

> IS the throttle linkage on the back of the mtoor under all the intake duct work?

> Also: What is the big box on the drivers side where the 200/5000 would have the fuse box? (by the wiper blades)

TIA
