B6 lug bolt BT: Are the OEM 5-spoke 17 (sport) lugs same length and size as the OEM 16 5-spoke (3.0)

on my OEM 17" 5 spoke sport package wheels.

I figured the lugs were identical, but based on the sport v. non-sport driveshaft issue Raughle was having (below thread) I wanted to make sure before my wheels fall off.
FWIW, maybe it's the 17 design, but the lugs are tucked deep in the sockets. The 3.0 16 non-sport 5-spokes have the lugs more accessible.
I do love the look of the 17" 5-spokes. Very clean.
