B6 start up issue
Alright so I just bought a 2003 Audi A4 1.8t! This is my first Audi I've purchased, and I believe I did a good job. I picked it up for 3700 bucks and it's a 5 speed manual transmission. It's pretty clean and only has 102,000 miles on it!
Anyways I bought it from this guy who had just had it sitting for two years. I guess what happened what someone dropped it off to him to put a new turbo on, he put a new turbo on it and the guy never paid him for it. So he kept the car and decided it was finally time to sell it. So what I am getting at is the car turns over for a while before it starts ups. Once it starts up it runs great, I believe there may be a misfire, just because at idle it seems like it skips a beat every once in a while. What the guy told me was that is probably caused by the old fuel. Both the starting problem and the misfire at idle! He said he put in new spark plugs and a new fuel pump, along with new tires and brakes. So I was just trying to get an answer out of someone who is more educated in the Audi world.
What do you suggest I do about the starting problem? New coil packs? New spark plug wires? Or is there a different diognosis to this problem?
Also if I go from driving on the highway to driving in the city the low pressure oil light comes on! But only sometimes
