Where did you hear they have problems with K04 software?

Default Just did a short jaunt to Palm Desert from LA...

and you are right, the heat did not have as huge effect on the 1.8T engine as I was expecting. I used to have an S4 and the twin turbos on that beast used to hate the heat!!!

Default K04 revo has no problem at ALL

I am running the K04 program, tuned by Mitchell. I have it for two months and I love it VERY much. First off I have no intercooler on and it experienced heatsoak problem and the intake temp went to 99 degree celcius when full boost. needless to say power was killed and butt dyno read 200 hp with calculation of drivetrain loss.

After I have the custom made FMIC installed, intake temp cooled to 57 degree celcius and butt dyno read 250 hp and 270 lb/ft. Fuel consumption was also down by 5 to 10 %.

Is it a problem? I am driving in a 30 + degree celcius summer and stop and go traffic.
