Default Is/was the pump humming?

Humming from back right area of vehicle?

Usually they make a lot of noise before they die. Anyone you can swap pumps with first?

If you do determine it's the pump, you definitely want to do the filter as well, since it was probably the cause of the pump failure...

Default I would tow it to Matrix, you will spend more money in tying to diagnose a issue

And especially stay clear of the dealership...

Parts are also at cost price with Matrix...

Default i never heard any noticeable humming, i do drive with the speakers pretty loud though...

you should be able to hear the fuel pump as the turn the engine over though, at least that is what i am told.

my roommate also suggested removing the spark plug and coil pack, assembling them and hold the plug to the engine block and turning the engine for half a second to see if the plug sparks or not. no spark = bad plug or bad wiring. the plugs look fine, so more likely it is bad wiring.

does anyone have a copy of the bentley, i would like to know which fuse is responsible for this ignition system so i can check to see if the fuse is blown.
