Bad smell when clutching!!
I had my clutch replaced a few months ago. They put a lightweight performance clutch in. Before the other burned, there was a terrible smell when engaging or when I tryed to get out of snow in winter. Then once, it completely burned and my car filled out with smoke.
Now, a few months ago, the old clutch smell is gone. I noticed than when I am going on reverse or when I am stuck in traffic, there's a very bad smell that's coming from the vent system. It is exactly the same as before it burned... am I burning it? I know how to drive a standard car, that's not the problem... maybe it was badly installed? The smell (it might sound weird) starts with a kinda propane smell and turns to a burned plastic smell...
Has someone else ever experienced that issue?
