front wheels hum during bumps and light turns, maybe the S4 brakes are rubbing somehow.

sigh... too bad it's raining pretty bad in upper midwest or else i'd be out there diagnosing.

Default you had someone else put rear pads in and now your pedal sinks to the floor?

Is that what you're saying?

Default I had the same problem a long time ago. I forgot to pump the pedal after

installing the pads, but before bleeding.

There is no need to bleed the system when replacing pads.

Default changing rears

I was doing rears and was unable to squeeze the piston, so I hammered it slowly(yeah, I know it sounds damn) with opened bleeder. After installing I pumped pedal without actual scheme, just open bleeder, put fluid up to the lead and pump the brake pedal a few times until foam starts coming out of bleeder, and after 3-4 refills its ok now.

Now I am going to change front ones, these are with cables.
So my question is: is there any legit way to squeeze these pistons with that $10 tool? Someone mentioned to release "e-brakes". What is that exactly? Any ideas?
Thanks

Default rears need to screw and press in at the same time, need a rear caliper tool from a box

fronts can use a c clamp or generic brake tool<ul><li><a href="http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=40732">http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=40732</a</li></ul>
