Default Battery Replacement BT: Changed the battery to Duralast - any ideas what small hose...
that connected to the OEM (+) side nipple is?

There was a "maintenance" nipple on the Duralast but on the front side, and not on the (+) side so no possible way it would fit.

The hose is just hanging free right now - any worries about this?

Default It was a vent on OE battery to get rid of acid overflow.
No worries on leaving it tucked away if new battery doesn't have that port.

should be a rubber hose that came with duralast and it will connect to the OEM hose.

true - just tried to get the tube connected - not long enough to reach.

Default may need to loosen and move battery to the right a little. i dunno, i got the duralast and i got min
e to connect.
