Default Best friend just picked up an 2005 Acura TL tonight (just got back from test drive)...

He picked it up earlier this evening and came by my place and we went out for a quick ride. Fully loaded 2005 Dolphin Grey/Black Interior, auto trans with Navigation. First I have to say, the car has more interior room than a B6. The Navi is absolutely awesome and the stereo controls are neat. Took it for alittle test drive (I didnt punch it, cause its brand new with only 40 miles) and I'll have to admit that it has some nice pick-up (270hp). Overall, I liked this car, except when I shut the doors it felt like I was closing the door to a Honda (which is exactly what it is). The body could use alittle more aggressive styling and it could go with bigger wheels. The stock 17" seem to small to me. He got a great deal on it and is satisfied with it, but overall I wouldnt give it up for my 3.0 Ultrasport. I think its a great car for the money at only $32k starting..

Default Scott...

While looking at the TL Navi tonight, it's really got me itching again to get a Navi Plus. If I ordered it anytime soon, would you help me put it in? (actually, you alone would put it in since I have no clue about car audio's--lol) I'd be willing to pay ya for it of course..

Yeah the surround sound was neat especially with the standard XM radio

Default Manual or Auto?

I test drove the manual and found the torque steer to be amazingly bad. It's a very good car otherwise, the electronics are awesome, but frankly I'd go for the TSX and spend the extra money on mods.
