Default P21S, Meguiars, One Grand, Sonax, Klasse, Zymol ( the real stuff ). ( edit )

If you do a search not only here, but on the detailing forum, you'll see even more opinions. Frankly, once you understand the technique and the properties of various products, you can get almost anything to look good - at least for a while.

Carnuba wax usually produces the most brilliant shine, although requiring more skill to use correctly with the higher carnuba content versions. Also tends to be the shortest lived. Carnuba wax is made of crystals that have a pyramid shape. friction from waxing smoothes them down to a uniform base, but heat from the sun causes them to reform in their original form fairly soon.

There are also polymers, acrylics, and silicone based waxes that may have some or no carnuba.

http://www.carcareonline.com</a
