Default black trim available?

on my 03 3.0 6-speed, i'd like to change out my wood trim covering the ash tray and around the shift boot for a trim set that matches the black interior. Primarily, I'd like to do this because the wood scratches easily, but also I think this would look pretty sweet. Does Audi have such black trim pieces available? Would I get this at the dealer? Does anyone have this, and can post pics? Thanks

Default you should try epimporters.com (more)

E-mail Chris and he can give you a price on what you want. I believe there is a fiberglass trim kit for the B6 A4, and I think it might come in black. But you could probably order just the shift surround and ashtray peices. I think the e-mail address is: info@epimporters.com

Default My '03 A4 1.8tqm does..

My '03 A4 1.8tqm came with black trim covering the ashtray, and around the shift boot. It's the same black trim you find in other places in the car, with that kinda matt/soft feel to it. I guess you could get it from Audi if it comes like that on the 1.8t.

Default Here you go... had fiberglass, switched to brushed alu... didn't change the area around the shifter.

BTW: do NOT get parts at your dealership, contact Chris at EPi (info@epimporters.com), I'm sure he will be able to get the parts for you at a much better price... I got a quote for the 2002 alu trim at CDN$1,000 by the dealership, US$350 by EPi...
Go there to get the part numbers, or ask someone here on the forum...

Default Don't know... I'm borrowing it from a friend everytime... no flash for these pics though...

just looked and found a light I was somewhat happy with... outside on a somewhat sunny day, found an area with some shade to use a background and took the shots... it's kind of funny because I wasn't too happy with the results at first, I was really trying to get the texture of the trims... but oh well, I guess for an photo amateur they aren't that bad afterall...

Really happy with the trims, and will have the fiberglass painted denimblue... looks really nice too... (see my PicPoster)
