Blind Spot Mirrors

Anybody that has been to Europe knows that Audi's come with blind spot mirrors (the outer third of the mirror allows you to see any vehicles that are typically in your "blind spot").
I installed a set of these mirrors on my TT (purchased from Stratmosphere) but have yet to see them for the new A4. Does anyone know if there is anybody selling these in the US ?
I know they exist for the A4, the avant that I rented in Germany in December had a blind spot mirror but only on the drivers side.
Maybe the European mirror housings are different from the US housings ????

As far as I know, they are not legal in North America. Why? I don't know. I've seen them over in Europe. They might take a bit of getting used to, for most people, as to what to look for in the mirror.
Just my 2c.

spot if you angle the mirror way out. Doing this just about eliminates the need to a shoulder check. What you don't get is the view down the road but I guess thats what cabin mirror is for.
