blow-off valve
does anybody have any problems with an after market blow-off valve. alot of people say they are not good for the car but yet i have not experienced any problems. a after market bov is good for the car when you start runnin more boost. i have a forge bov from www.ecodetuning.com and i can adjust how stiff the spring is. it is rated at 7-35 psi. pics soon to come.

Do a BOV! All the ricers will be so envious of your PSHHHHH! noise...
...even if the german car folks shake their head and laugh at you.
...and even if it does cause you to run rich between shifts (lambda control loves that).

People have had problems in the past with BOV's however more and more people are running the Forge and GFB Hybrid Valve without any kind of problem occuring. Some say it is bad for the engine in the long term but I've yet to see it actually damage it. My recommendation is to get a "Hybrid" DV/BOV, I believe Forge makes one and I know GFB (Gofastbits) also does. Both of these are good solutions.
