Default Bluetooth car kit installed today. Interfaced with radio mute, but not radio speakers.
Still, pretty happy with the result. Here is the only visible component...

Default So what exactly does this Bluetooth do for your car?
I've heard of it on Mini MV recorders before but not for cars.

Default In order to have sound through radio speakers ...
I connected speaker out from handsfree box to speaker +/- terminal of the same jack where mute is on the radio. Note, this input of the radio is not amplified, it just passes thr signal through to speakers.

It allows you to talk handsfree speakerphone with the phone in your pocket. Real slick!

Default Yup, it's a SE kit. Set me back $250 for the kit, plus installation.
I figured it was worth it for both coolness, and the ability to change phones without adjustment. And coolness. Did I mention coolness?
