Any idea of good BOV for the A4 1.8T 6sp ultra sports? (I assume it's the same for all B6 A4 1.8T anyway)

Anyone tried to remove the turbo silencer?

Other than spending $1k on APR exhaust, what are the other choices?

Sorry guys, really want some muscular sound out of my car...stock is simply too quiet, quiet like a camry, which doesn't fit its racy appearance.

I have no idea what a "turbo silencer" is you are gonna have to explain that one.

Most exhaust options are about $1000 for the A4 other than a hand made system that some are doing with Borla or another brand of muffler. Because the system is a dual system is costly to upgrade.

As for BOV's its generally accepted that a BOV is bad for out cars. Venting any air from our system increases the likliehood of running rich and probably decreases performance. That being said I have been running the GFB Hybrid BOV for a year now. As it is an adjustable valve I have it about 1/2 open so some of the air is still being returned into the system after dump.

#1 and #2 are bad ideas. Exhaust will give you sound.
