Brake light bulb out in Avant.....
I did a search and couldn't find the info on the Avant. Do you just pull that rubber part away to expose the back side of the light assembly?

Which rubber part are you talking about?
You take a little tab off at the side of the tailgate opening, undo the screw inside, and pull the housing out sideways. Pretty easy after you do it once.
