I have Hawk HPS pads on now with stock rotors and they sqeek louder than a train trying to brake even after I wash the car. I had the edges of the pads cut and sanded, but the mechanic said thats not gunna help the noise much b/c the dust is getting stuck in the center grove. He recommended that i get drilled rotors since i got a performance pad. It is the Pads? or should I get new rotors ? Which will make that loud squeeking noise go away.
Thank you

no squeeling yet... now to get the rear pads on... cause they are howling.
Try bedding in your pads... do 10 or so 60 to 0 stops w/out going into ABS. It should get most of the air out and force the pad to conform.
