I recently noticed that my 2000 1.8T has a light squealing of the breaks. It only squeals when I lightly touch the brakes, not when I push them harder. I got it checked out and they said the brakes were fine. Brake dust? or maybe an off brand of brakes or something...? I'm not really worried about it since I got it checked out but its awfully annoying and I would just like to know what exactly is causing it to be on the safe side. So any ideas?
