Brake Question: Good idea to change all 4 pads/rotors or only the two bad ones?

I had my rear pads and rotors replaced w/ 50% left on the front

I changed the rear independent of the fronts

Default The rear pads seem to go faster than the front pads on the A4s. My rears were changed out

at 29k miles, fronts (inner and outer) are still original with over 50% (about 8mm out of 14mm) of pad left at 53k miles. Rear pads currently have about half left as well.

Just changed the pads that need changing.
