Brake rotor warranty hassle at Dover Auto World

Ended up OK in the end, but it took a fight.
Bought a 2002 3.0Q last 6/04 with 40K. Front rotors were warped and replaced at Audi Nashua under warranty 7/04. Front pads a few months later.
Redeveloped rotor wobble/warping; front rotors resurfaced at Dover Auto 1/05 at about 48K.
Warped again by 3/05, 50K, out of original 4 yr/50K warranty. Rotors replaced after a long discussion with service manager, who alleged that my 18" RS4's were overtorqued by Town Fair Tire (possible) when they were installed one week ago. This would invalidate any 12 month/12K warranty on the rotors, or the "workmanship" warranty for the resurfacing. He said AOA was coming down hard on a4 rotor replacement, nothing he could do about it.
I told him the problem was recurring, even with my properly torqued OEM 16" winter setup which they pulled off at the visit for resurfacing 1/05. Hard to believe overtorqued RS4's would warp front rotors in one week, right?
Well, he finally heard my point, called his AOA rep and got my rotors replaced under warranty.
What a PITA. Anyone with similar rotor issues? Dealer is wondering if I brake excessively hard, run through puddles with hot rotors, etc. I can honestly say those behaviors are not common ones for me.
