Default Which brand gasoline is best and why?

While you're at it, give your octane preference and reason for using such. . . . .

Default From what I know they all get it from the same place. Only the additives are different.

and if that's the case, I would tend to think that the only thing that matters is getting gas from a reputable looking station. Don't go to a place that looks like it's going to nickel and dime on it's supplies. and don't go when they're filling the tanks.

Default Octane preference? It's not like you have a choice...

Per your manual, you should be using at least 91 octane gas.

Chevron has a good additive package (Techron) which helps keep your fuel system (injectors) clean.

Be sure to fill-up at a gas station that gets a lot of business, this way there is more likelihood that you're getting fresh gas (quick turnaround), as opposed to one that's been sitting in their underground tanks for months...

Default When tanks are being filled, any sediment....

that has settled to the bottom of the tank gets mixed up and could get sucked into your tank. That could cause all sorts of problems with your fuel line system and engine!

Default I thought about that the other day when I

filled up as they were filling their tanks.

I wonder if that's still as true these days since I think most gas pumps have filters right at the delivery point.
