Default Bridgestone vs. Dunlop vs. Sumitomo all season tires

Does anyone have experience/recommendations on the following tires:

Bridgestone Potenza RE950
Dunlop SP Sport 5000 Asymmetrical
Sumitomo HTR+
or others

I want to purchase an all season high performance tire set (for 17" sport package wheels) and would like any guidance you may offer. I love my OEM Dunlop 9090's but will replace them with all season tires when necessary.

I want excellent dry/wet handling, good tire wear, and the ability to drive in occasional light snow (we average only 6 inches of snow in Charlotte, NC but I do drive to NC/WVA ski destinations and I visit family in Pittsburgh, PA for Christmas). And I don't want dedicated summer and winter tires.

Thanks for your input.
Doug

Default Get Michelin's

Get Michelin Sport A/S, the best by far, if it's too much money, then get Dunlop SP5000.

I did exactly what wanna do, and I really love my Michelin's Sport A/S.

Default Had several sets of SP5000, RE950 is what I use now, the BEST a/s tire I ever used.

Default 3 1/2 questions: do you have sport suspension? (more)

how is Michelin's dry handling?, any degradation from the summers (if you have them)?and how are they in the snow?

I like my Toyo Proxes A/S, but Yoko AVS db sounds like a great tire...

I have sports package and they perform great. Little bit rougher ride and noisier than summers, but handling is almot the same. Have not tried in snow, since we haven't had any since I got them. GREAT in rain.
