Broken pressure Plate
My son took out my 2004 1.8 A4 6spd, not knowing how to drive standard, and busted my transmission.
Audi wants around 2700 to replace a entire clutch as they say the pressure plate is broken. This clutch was just replaced last year. I realize this is a labor intensive job, but 2700 seems like a lot for components that come in for around 500 online.
What prices are reasonable for clutch repair? Do you have to replace a new flywheel if the pressure plate broke? Any other advice?
