Default Bulb/Ballasts the same for both Bixenon and normal xenon, correct?

I have xenon e-codes right now (w/ oem bulbs/ballasts), but might pick up a set of bi-xenon housings. Just wondering if my bulbs/ballasts will work in the bixenons? thanks

Yes. Bi-xenon feature is not ballast dependent.

Default The only issue you'll have is that the Bi-xenon Ballast is thinner than the regular xenon ballast...

thus when it's mounted on the back of the housing it may be tight. I know some people have sucessfully done this modification so you'll probably be okay.

I think the "thinner ballast" may be from earlier Eurospec Bi-Xenons??

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/748989.phtml
