Which bulbs are used in Bi-xenon headlights ?
Ok i got a set of Bi-xenon's 1DS
but i am a bit confused about the bulbs i need.
i was told i could use one of the halogen bulbs in the bi-xenon's.
which sounds weird since i assume bi-xenon uses 2 xenon bulbs and one regular(the smallest bulb).
the plan also is to add led city light's(unless this means i lose the bi-xenon function).
like for the left side's headlight
it should be something like
turning signal bulb, lens bulb , smallest bulb(citylight?) then some other bulb.
i am getting totaly confused about this.
Any idea's ?

yeah your high beam is still halogen
the "bi-xenon" just is a flap that opens or shifts (don't remember exactly) that allows more light to come out of the xenon...
truthfully to me i don't see how that can be called bi-xenon...
but the theory behind it ...
is for a quick flash if you're high beam bulb was actually a xenon bulb it would be impractical because of the time it takes to heat up the xenon bulb
so you just have a halogen bulb + more light let out of the xenon

MB The Body nailed it
The bi-xenon housing has a flap that blocks a portion of the xenon bulb when you turn on your headlights. When you turn on the high beams, the flap drops down, allowing a full Xenon blast coupled with the halogen high beam bulb.
As for the xenon bulb, the standard OEM xenon bulb is a 4300k D1S. Some people are using higher Kelvin bulbs, like 5400 or higher even.
Good luck with the LED mod, you'll love it. Check around for Eddie the Man posts and one from MC Hammered regarding some new resistors that you can use instead of Load Equalizers.
