Default busted lumbar support...

the lumbar in my driver seat gave up a few weeks back and even though i then bought the Recaro's i thought i would still get it fixed...

here's the busted lumpar support:

here's the replacement part:

takes about 15-20mins to replace the part, done by your friendly Audi Master Tech... et voila...

oh and just for reference here's what the back board looks like...

<img src="http://images18.fotki.com/v331/photos/1/110342/776249/SeatBackrestCover-vi.jpg">

it's clipped at the top, so always start there when removing it, and just just lift to disengage the bottom clips...

Default Thanks for the heads up...

I had the seatback off a couple months ago to permanently fix the broken seat back problem. I think the broken lumbar was exacerbating the problem.

I poked around a bit and it did look rather complicated. If it was a $25 part I'd look into it...but at $100 it's not really worth it. I don't even use the lumbar anyway.
