busted lumbar support...
the lumbar in my driver seat gave up a few weeks back and even though i then bought the Recaro's i thought i would still get it fixed...
here's the busted lumpar support:

here's the replacement part:

takes about 15-20mins to replace the part, done by your friendly Audi Master Tech... et voila...

oh and just for reference here's what the back board looks like...

it's clipped at the top, so always start there when removing it, and just just lift to disengage the bottom clips...

one thing though...
i'm not sure i would do it on my own... it seems to a real PITA... i guess you can always try... after all if it's already busted then what the heck...

Thanks for the heads up...
I had the seatback off a couple months ago to permanently fix the broken seat back problem. I think the broken lumbar was exacerbating the problem.
I poked around a bit and it did look rather complicated. If it was a $25 part I'd look into it...but at $100 it's not really worth it. I don't even use the lumbar anyway.
