buying 1.8t, need opinions
I'm trying to decide between two a4's:
1. 2003 a4 1.8t avant, 55K miles, manual 5spd.
2. 2004 a4 1.8t sedan, 45K miles, manual 6spd.
Both have the same options and both look great (I've seen neither in person and won't before the sale). They're right around the same price. I'd prefer an avant for practicality but it seems silly to pass up the 6-spd sedan, 1 year newer for the same price. I plan to modify to at least 300hp. Is the 6-spd better suited to this? Were there any other improvements from 03 to 04? Thanks.
