for real, just bite the bullet and get a used S4, it has 300hp with chip maybe. all motor all day long. The A4 modded to 300hp will cost you so much money in the long run, you should just own up to the S4.

Having 300 peaky whp compared to the S4's broad all motor power theres no comparison the S4 wins.

for the feedback, that's perfect. I do mostly hwy driving, so I'll go with 6spd if I stick to a4. I'm coming from a bmw 540iA (V8, hwy beast) so I'm a tad worried about power shock. Considering s4's too, with chip it would probably suffice.

Just a "chip" will not suffice. That's all I wanted initially and look how that turned out.

B6 S4 dyno'd at 240whp on the same dyno (same day) that I dyno'd 175whp.

Yeah, and even with mods like the GIAC FX, IMO the power is just "tolerable"

Yup. You need a minimum of K04 to make the car adequate in the power department.
