Yup. Dyno Dynamics. The S4 also had a Milltek non-res exhaust.

Default it's (almost) official.

Marital considerations have carried the day, beating out the eternal quest for torque. The wife didn't bite on the older S4 with its higher insurance costs, lower mpg, etc. It was a valiant effort but I'll be picking up the A4 sedan next week.

I was also a bit scared of the fact that the S4 engine has to be dropped to get at the turbos. I guess I can deal with a narrow power band as long as there IS a power band in there somewhere. Driving this thing stock just might actually kill me, however. Now I need to start embezzling funds (from my own paycheck, sadly) to pay for mods.

'Scuse me, I have to go study the 1.8t development forum. I need to learn the cheapest way to get about 300ft-lbs to the wheels without breaking anything.

Default You need a BT to get 300whp on teh 1.8T. Here's my stock dyno sheet to cheer you up ;-)

Default dear god.

the pain in my heart rivals the pain in my jaw from having my wisdom teeth pulled today. i see from the engine development forums that 300wftlbs is not cheap.

Default Nope, not cheap at all. My current setup dyno sheet is in my sig. A lot faster than stock,

but nowhere near 300whp. Same dyno was used for the run.
